THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Monday, October 16, 2006.

Joan (Houke) Huse, 73, who spent most her life in Ames and raised her family there, died Oct. 4 in Vancouver, Wash., following a lengthy illness.

She was born Oct. 11, 1932, in Des Moines.
