Mary H. (Wee) Lowman, 92, died Friday, Sept. 22, at Madrid Nursing Home. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27, at Adams Funeral Home. Burial will be in Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, Calif.

Mary Hermia Wee, the youngest of 13 children, was born Nov. 22, 1912, in Polk County, to Lars Lewis and Ann Karina "Carrie" (Dobbee) Wee. She married Murlie Basil Lowman March 23, 1934. To this union, two sons were born, Nathan and Karl. Around 1960, the family moved from Des Moines to California. In May 2002, she entered Ballard Creek Assisted Living in Huxley.

She is survived by one daughter-in-law, Debra Lowman of Claremore, Okla.; one grandson, Eric Lowman of Peshtigo, Wis.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Murlie in 1985; two sons, Nathan in 2005 and Karl in 1989; one daughter-in-law, Doll Lowman; five sisters; seven brothers; and several nieces and nephews.
