Roberto Arrazate Dardón, 82, died Sunday, Aug. 13, in Zapopan, Guadalajara, Mexico.

He is survived by his wife, Rosalba Garcia de Arrazate; his children, René Arrazate, of San Salvador, El Salvador, Lila Hemphill and Carlos Arrazate, of Florida, Rosalba Epps, of Harlingen, Texas, and Marisol Corona, Ruth Lee, Comandante Carlos Roberto Arrazate, Alberto Arrazate, Francisco Arrazate, Sara Arrazate and Matilde Arrazate, all of Guadalajara; one brother Dr. Juan Alberto Arrazate, of El Salvador; two sisters, Elisa Arrazate and Lidia E. Bran, of Ames; and grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and one son.
