April 1, 1978-July 30, 2006
Jeremy Lee Thompson, 28, of Devils Lake, N.D., and formerly of Ames, died Sunday, July 30, at his home.
In the short span of his 28 years, he touched many hearts and made lots of friends. He was loved very much and will be missed.

He is survived by his mother, Judy Miller, of Huxley; his father, Ronald Thompson, of Ames; two sisters, Anna Morgan and Jennifer Thompson, of Story City; one niece, Jamie Morgan, of Story City; one nephew, Jacob Morgan, of Story City; his grandmother, Shirley Eshelman, of Massena; his great-grandparents, Mildred Stapleton, of Massena, and Bert and Bernice Miller, of Corning; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceeded in death by grandparents, Dale Miller, of Massena, and Maria and John Pearson, of Ames.

Two ceremonies were held - Wednesday, Aug. 2, at Roosevelt Park, Devils Lake, N.D. and a graveside ceremony Saturday, Aug. 5, in Victoria Cemetery in Massena.

In lieu of flowers, donations to an account at Ackley State Bank, 629 Broad St., Story City, has been set up to help with funeral costs and to purchase a tombstone.
