Rupp were held Sunday afternoon, January 23, 1955 at the Maxwell Christian Church … interment Maxwell Cemetery. George P. Rupp, son of Peter Rupp and Lovinda Knepper, was born October 26,1866, in Somerset County, Pennsylvania. He passed away at his home in Maxwell January 21, 1955 … He was united in marriage to Hattie Meyers on February 17, 1897. To them were born two children, Eva I. Holt of Clear Lake, South Dakota, and Fay V. Rupp of Maxwell. He was preceeded in death by his parents and two brothers, Wilson and William. … Grandchildren: Mrs. Gene (Holt), … Paul K. Holt, Lyle Holt, Dick Holt, Dale Holt, Sally (Rupp) Higgenbotton. Two great grandsons: Bobe (e?) and Garry.”
