The Roland Record, Roland, Story County, Iowa, May 21, 1897.

The funeral of the infant baby girl of Mr. and Mrs. Jno. N. Scott, aged 5 months and 3 days took place last Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Congregational church. Rev. Tillitt had charge of the services. A large number of relatives and friends gathered to pay their respects and sympathize with its bereaved parents. Interment took place in the cemetery south of Sheldahl.--Slater News
