THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Wednesday, June 28, 2006.

John N. (Jack) Wierson, 78, of Ames, died Saturday, June 17. He was blessed with a large family - Ron Nunn, Gary Nunn, Geni Kester, Chere Chelsvig, Terri Finnegan, Robin McClure, Ray Wierson, Claudia Anderson, Ron Wierson, Pat Vulgamott, Karen Hagenson, Mary Ann Dyer, Lois Kidd, Margaret Armburg-Jennings and Delores Root.

He is survived by his bride of 36 years; 23 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren who will miss the tender touch and special times with their Grandpa Jack. He is also survived by three brothers, Stan Wierson, Phillip Wierson and Paul Wierson.

He was a preceded in death by his mother and father, Celia and John Wierson, of Story City.
