THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Thursday, June 15, 2006.

Graveside services for John M. Nelson, 84, of Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown and formerly of rural Boone and Roland, will be at 4 p.m. Friday, June 16, at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery, northeast of Boone. Military honors will be conducted by the Boone Veterans Council. Burial of the cremains will follow the services.

Schroeder Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall streets in Boone is in charge of arrangements.
