THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Sunday, June 11 2006.

Inez Ferrell, 90, of Ames, died Saturday, June 10, at Mary Greeley Medical Center.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, at Adams Funeral Home in Ames, with Pastor Matt Hatfield officiating. Burial will follow at Blairsburg Cemetery.

Ferrell was born Oct. 26, 1915, in Webster City to Andrew and Margueritte (Olson) Pringle. Ferrell attended high school and one year of college. She also resided in Blairsburg before Ames, where she was the secretary to the superintendent of Northeast Hamilton Schools before retiring.

Ferrell married Bernie Ferrell on March 21, 1941, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. She enjoyed playing the piano.

Ferrell is survived by a son, Kirk (Barbara) Ferrell, of Arlington, Va.; a daughter, Jill (Galen) Moore, of Ames; four grandchildren, Ryan and Allison Ferrell and Janelle and Janessa Moore; and five nieces and three nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and her husband, Bernie.

A visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, June 12, at Adams Funeral Home.

Inez Ferrell, 90, of Ames, died Saturday, June 10, at Mary Greeley Medical Center. Services were today at Adams Funeral Home, with Pastor Will Hatfield officiating. Burial was in Blairsburg Cemetery.

Inez was born Oct. 26, 1915, in Webster City to Andrew and Margueritte (Oleson) Pringle. She attended high school and one year of college. She married Bernie Ferrell March 21, 1941, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. The couple lived in Blairsburg where she was a homemaker and secretary to the superintendent of Northeast Hamilton schools. She was a church organist for many years. She moved to Ames in 1987 and had resided the past seven years at Bickford Cottage.

She is survived by one son, Kirk (Barbara) Ferrell of Arlington, Va.; one daughter, Jill (Galen) Moore of Ames; four grandchildren, Ryan and Allison Ferrell and Janelle and Janessa Moore; and five nieces and three nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; and her husband, Bernie.
