Gladys A. Mousel, 89, of Nevada, died Thursday, May 18, at Rolling Green Village.

Funeral services are pending with Chet Ryan Mortuary in Nevada.

Gladys Amelia Mousel, 89, of Nevada, died on Thursday, May 18, at the Rolling Green Village where she had been a resident since January. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. on Monday, May 22, at the Memorial Lutheran Church with Pastor David R. Burling officiating. Burial will follow in the Nevada Municipal Cemetery.

Gladys was born May 21, 1916, in Lohrville to Vegor and Lillian (Voss) Larson. She was a graduate of Lohrville High School. On March 2, 1939, Gladys married Paul F. Mousel. She was employed for 22 years at Reuben H. Donnelley Marketing.

Gladys was a member of the Memorial Lutheran Church. She enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons, Paul (Pat) Mousel, of Putney, Vt., and Duane Mousel, of Nevada; a daughter, Joan (Gene) Brummel, of Leighton; two brothers, Larry Larson, of Belmond, and Harold Larson, of Pomeroy; and seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Paul, in June of 1977, a daughter, Sandra, in 1940, and a sister, Lillian.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 21, with the family present from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Chet Ryan Mortuary in Nevada. A memorial fund has been established in Gladys' name at the Memorial Lutheran Church. Chet Ryan Mortuary has been entrusted with the arrangements.
