THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Friday, April 28, 2006.

J. Lucile Stull, 94, of Gilbert, died April 27, 2006, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, May 1, at Gilbert Lutheran Church in Gilbert. Burial will be in the Gilbert Cemetery.

Lucile was born Nov. 16, 1911, in Marshalltown, to Chloe and Florabelle (Long) Shipley. She married Ralph Stull on March 31, 1934, in Hopkinton. They farmed south of Story City for 31 years and then moved to Gilbert in 1980.

She is survived by her son Gordon (Alys) of Gilbert; a grandson, David (Karla) Stull, of Gilbert; a granddaughter, Dawn (Kelly) Ringstad, of Jewell; three great grandchildren, Breanna and Joseph Ringstad and Jordan Stull; a brother, Verl Shipley, of Clemons; a half brother, Darrell Shipley, of State Center; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ralph, in 1990; three sisters; one brother; a half brother; a half sister; her stepmother; and an infant son.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 Sunday at the Gilbert Lutheran Church in Gilbert. Soderstrum Funeral Home in Story City is handling arrangements.
