THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Friday, April 28, 2006.

Doris Tesdahl, 83, of Ames died Wednesday, April 26. A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 29, at Stevens Memorial Chapel in Ames.

Doris was born May 13, 1922, to Martin and Mahala Tesdahl. She retired as a housekeeper at Mary Greeley Medical Center. She loved her family and enjoyed playing card games.

She is survived by one brother, Zenith Tesdahl of Ames; three nephews, Gary Tesdahl of Carlisle, Dale Tesdahl of Slater and Robert Tesdahl of Ames; three grand-nieces; and two grand-nephews.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Marvin; and three sisters, Bernice, Jennie and Martha.
