Scott French

The interment of Scott French, 72, former Story county man who died in Des Moines earlier in the week has been delayed because of the intense cold weather. the funeral services were held at the Caldwell funeral home in Des Moines Tuesday afternoon and the body is still there awaiting a suitable day to bring it to Nevada for burial. Interment will bw in the Nevada cemetery under the uspices of the Ames Masonic Lodge. Mr. French was for years a farmer, located north of Ames, and for some time had been an invalid and had lived in Des Moines. He was a son of Isaac French, an early day resident of the Colo neighborhood.
