NEVADA JOURNAL, Nevada, Iowa, Thursday, August 9, 1990, page 2A. “RUSSELL I. MCNATTON Sept. 25, 1913-Aug. 7, 1990. Russell Ira McNatton, 76, of Tucson, Ariz., died Aug. 7 in Tucson of chronic heart and long disease. He was born in Palmyra to Ira J. and Ruby McNatton and worked as a heat treater in a steel mill. He had lived in Arizona for the past 15 years, moving there from Illinois. Survivors include one daughter, Bonnie Carlson of Stephen, Minn.; two sons, Dewayne and Dean, both of Minnesota; two sisters, Lois French of Nevada and Marilyn Allie of Des Moines; and three grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Aug. 11 at 10:30 a.m. at Nevada Cemetery. Arrangements are by Cooper-Ryan Funeral Home of Nevada.”
