Dallas Center Times, Dallas Center, Dallas County, Iowa, Friday, March 12, 1965, page 1. “Charley Huggins Dead: Services Thursday – Funeral services for Charley Huggins, 83 were held at the Fisher Funeral home in Adel Thursday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. Mr. Huggins, who lived southwest of Dallas Center, had farmed in this vicinity and Adel most of his life. His death occurred Monday at Iowa Methodist Hospital where he had been a patient for some time. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Erma Moss of Minburn and five sons, Glenn and Lew Huggins of Maxwell; Milton of Adel; Lester of Minburn, and Ralph of Pontiac, Mich. His wife preceded him in death several years ago.”
