MANY ATTEND THE WHITAKER REUNION
WHITAKER FAMILY IN ANNUAL REUNION

Mr. And Mrs. Charles Jones and small daughter, Sandra Rae of Winnebago, Neb., niece Blanche Sebesta of Broken Bow, Neb., who came Sunday to attend the Whitaker clan reunion, are house guests this week in the home of Mrs. Carrie Fair and family.Maxwell, July 24—The fifth annual reunion of the Whitaker clan was held Sunday, July 20 in the city park at Maxwell. Forty-six members and a few friends of the large family were present to enjoy a bounteous dinner at the noon hour.
Following the dinner, a business meeting was held. The newly-elected president is Harold Whitaker of Mitchelville, who was also chosen as historian. Mrs. Carrie Fair was re-elected secretary. After the reading of the minutes, the secretary read the clan history and a letter from Frank Barr of Wichita, Kan.
Larry Dean Jones, 3 months old, was the youngest member present. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Fair of Des Moines furnished harmonica and banjo music and Mrs. Gladys Belcher gave a reading.
In the evening a part of the group retired to the fair home where Clay Robison was showing pictures taken with his camera on a recent vacation.

Smith of Omaha, Nebr.; Mr. And Mrs. Cecil Jones and son Larry Dean of Dubuque; Mr. and Mrs. Verle Jones of Ames; Mr. and Mrs. Ross Fair, Mr. and Mrs. O.O. Mullen and Mr. and Mrs. E.W. Whitaker of Des Moines; Mrs. Hattie Tichenor of Colo; Gladys Belcher, St. James, Minn.; Mrs. Ida Belcher, Mr. and Mrs. Clark Belcher and son Rolland, Mrs. Mary Tichenor, Mr. and Mrs. George Tichenor, Mr. and Mrs. Carlton Tichenor, Mrs. Cora McConnell, Mrs. Robert Ogden, Mr. and Mrs. Richard McConnell and sons Carol and Grant Whitaker of Nevada; Mr. and Mrs. Clay Robison, Mrs. Louisa Carter, Mrs. Carrie Fair, Ceta and Donald of Maxwell.
