The Charles Christian Family

Mr. and Mrs. C.E. (Charles) Christian were married December 15, 1898. Mrs. Christian was a daughter of Siri and Torris Thompson. They came to the United States in 1871. Mrs. Christian was born south of Roland. Christian is the son of Ole and Jarna Christian and C.E. was born in 1875 in Lisban, Illinois.

Mr. and Mrs. Christian moved from Roland to their farm one mile west of McCallsburg, and they lived there until 1942 when they moved to McCallsburg.

They had eight children, Beulah, now Mrs. Ervin Morris, Gaylord, Sanford, Fern Moklecust, Oleda, now Mrs. Lerri Severson, Charlotte, now Mrs. Ross Morris, Lenard, Junis, now Mrs. Cleo Arnold.
