Rasmus Larson

Rasmus Larson was born in Stavanger, Norway and came to America at the age of 22. He was married to Ana Olson Erickson. They lived on their farm southeast of McCallsburg until 1936 when they moved into McCallsburg. Mrs. Larson died the same year.

Larson worked at the canning factory in Roland and did tiling for several years. He lived to be almost 93 years of age and was able to live alone and do for himself to the very end.

The step children are Carl Erickson and Jennie Johnson, Edwin Erickson, Amanda (Mrs. Cornell Erickson) and Rose Sampson, deceased.
