Ella HOFFS, 1886-1959

Ella Hoffs is my grandmother. She was born 29 Jan 1886 "on a farm near Orange City." On 25 Feb 1909, she married Jacob R. Foreman in Newkirk, IA. She died in LeMars on 16 Oct 1959.

I'm having trouble finding her parents. Would there have been newspaper mention of the marriage that may have included her parents - and is it available on microfilm? Would a courthouse (and which one) have a record of the marriage?
