Funeral Home info

How do I go about finding out the funeral home that would have been in charge of a funeral? I have the death certificates. On one it shows the undertaker listed as W.H. Schmidt in Cherokee IA and the other death certificate shows W.H. Christy in Alton, IA. Both people died in 1918. I know that since it was so long ago that the funeral records probably aren't available, but it's worth a shot.
