Looking for information on gg grandather

I am looking for any information on my gg grandfather, William Sorokowski. I know that he and his wife Victoria had a son in 1916, Michael, who died at birth. My grandfather said his father was Ladislaus and he too was born in Iowa. I have found Michael's notice of death (1916) and have found his parents in a local directory in 1927 and 1933 but I cannot find them in the 1930 census.
