At St. Josephs church in Granville on Monday February seventh 1910 occurred the marriage of Michael Goergen and Miss Susan Schumacher. Rev. Father Gerleman officiated. The groomsman was Nick Schumacher and the bridesmaid Miss Malinda Goergen. The groom is a son of Mr, and Mrs. Theo, Goergen—the father being dead. The family is among the best known and most respected in the community. The groom himself is a prosperous young farmer northeast of Granville and there the young folks will reside. The bride is a most estimable young lady. Her parents died in Luxemburg Europe some time ago and she came to the United States from Kaundorf Luxemburg two months ago to join her brothers. The brothers are well known as blacksmiths at Granville and Alton.
