JOHN RODENBOUR
John Rodenbour, 81, well known farmer and stock raiser died at his farm home southwest of Maurice
on Sunday morning, May from infirmities of old age. He was born at Omerfeulen, Luxemburg, Europe on June 16 1858. -He lived there until he was 26 years old then came to America. He arrived in Chicago where he lived for a year then came to Le Mars where he engaged farming. Later he moved to
farm west of Maurice. Mr. Rodenbour was married to Miss Anna Petges at Le Mars on December 9, 1886.
Deceased is survived by his wife and six children, Nick and Theresa at home; John of Remsen, Mrs. Frank Plendl of Neptune; Mrs. Joe Plendl and Leo of Struble. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at St. Joseph church at Struble and interment
was made in the Struble cemetery.A different family

He was born July 5, 1871 at Winona MN died Jan 3, 1931 at St. Louis MN. According to this report he was married to Aurelia M. Wagner born Jun 2, 1889 died August 1917 OR. They had a baby girl born and died 1913.In 1898 he married Anastacia Cleary born 1876 they had a daughter Evelyn born 1902.
He also appears to have married an Agnes Lofaid 1894-1980 and a daughter Lorraine Patricia 1918-2007.
