On page 70 of the Alton Centennial book 1883 - 1983 the page is headlined Churches. It has to do with St. Mary's Church of Alton. Among the group of 'prairie schooners' arriving in eastern Sioux County on May 20, 1870 were the following families.
Among them were Nick and Peter Ginsbach...
