We have a good sized Drost file that I will copy for you. It has many obits in it and an ancestry chart of Gerrit Drost 1915 of Arie Drost 1889, of Arie Drost 1827 and it does tie into your Drost line of Dirk 'Dick' Drost also with the ancestors. The Dick Drost born 1882 and wife Mary Meylink are the ancestors you are interested in correct? I have found some evidence of the death of both of them. I will copy and have that available also when you come. I can do some work on the Meylink line also, her father was Theodore I believe. Do you have that ancestry already?
YOu can do some research in the years of her death and before on http://siouxcounty.newspaperarchive.com get the free subscription. Go to advanced search and put in the name and then go down to the year box and fill in. I noticed the Jacob Meylink was made guardian of the three Drost children when Mary died.
