HELP: Ethnic Marriage Parties (about 1900)

I am researching the customs of ethnic groups in marriage events---in relation to American-Dutch customs. Period: near 1900. Place: near Dutch communities in South Dakota and Iowa; also Wisconsin and Minnesota. Religion: CR, RCA, and especially Catholic or any Protestant faiths.

Searching for stories, anecdotes, and especially letters that describe the marriage and the community.
