I have been looking for information on your Rose Groenbeck Collins.
The only obituary that may exist for a Rose Collins from Hawarden would be May of 1976 accordning to the Social Security Death Benefit Index. She was born Sep 28 of 1884, this may be a Miss Rose Collins as is referred to quite often in the newspapers and books. We don't have the microfilm for that year readily available you would have to write to the Hawarden Library to get that obit, or you could hunt through the pages of May 1976 as those newspapers of the Hawarden Independent are on line at http://siouxcounty.newspaperarchive.com
There was a reference to a Thomas Collins living southeast of Hawarden March 16, 1893. I suspect they moved from the Hawarden area. I will do some more checking and contact you if I find anything more.
