In Response To: Engbert Roeterdink from the Netherlands (Tonny)

I have traced Engbert a little further.
In the US Fed census of 1920 he was living in O'Brien County, Floyd Township, city of Sheldon. His name was grossly misspelled in the Ancestry.com index.
He was listed as Poeterdink Engelbert, 47 yrs, looks like a W =widower?, b. Holland, says he came in 1902 but hard to read. He was a singel boarder at the Benjamin Verdoorn residence, probably worked for them, no occupation listed.
I couldn't find him in the 1930 censes in O'Brien County. He could have moved on or died. He is not listed in the Sheldon cemetery headstone index. He could have died there with no tombstone. His death may be recorded in the court house at Primghar IA. However with out a year, month and day it would be hard to find.
That is about all I can find for now.
