The following information is from the "Harmlink Family Centennial Reunion" book (May 21, 2002), which is in the Sioux Center Library. Grada Harmina "Minnie" Harmelink was the 9th child born to Gerrit Hendrik Harmelink and Harmina Helmink Harmelink. Minnie was born May 8, 1880 in the farm village Lintelo, Aalten gemeente, Gelderland province, the Netherlands. On March 2, 1905, Minnie married John Louis De Vries in Rock Valley, IA. They were the parents of 10 children. John De Vries died July 20, 1929 in Rock Valley, IA with burial on July 24, 1929 in Valley View Cemetery in Rock Valley, IA. On November 27, 1935, Minnie married Dick Walter Post in the De Vries house (near city park) in Rock Valley, IA. Minnie Harmelink died on January 14, 1962 in Merrill Memorial Hospital in Rock Rapids, IA and was buried on January 17, 1962 in Valley View Cemetery in Rock Valley, IA.
