Hello: I am the researcher for the GSCGS. We don't do any research in the Sioux Indian records here in Sioux County IA. Maybe if you contact the Woodbury County Society in IA they can direct you. Also try a google search for Sioux Indian genealogy. Try www.cyndislist.com for links to the Sioux Tribes and military records.
I can't do anything for sure without more information on George W. Green, when and where was he born. Do you know the names of his parents and where they lived? I assume he died in the 1940s as you say he went to the US with health problems during WW11. With a name like Green and no more information to go on, it is like looking for a needle in a hay stack so to speak.
Maybe the military would have records of his induction that would yeild more information as to his parents, birth date and etc. Try a google search for military records during the time he would have served.
I will keep thinking of ways to help you.
