From the early marriages of Sioux county pale 68 a Marinus Eernisse married to Jan Keirvant (could have been misspelled by recorder) married on Jun 29, 1874 in Orange City by Rev. S. Bolks minister of the Ref. Church there.
In the membership records of the Ref. Church in Orange City it lists the famiy of Marinus Eernisse but must says Mrs. as the wife. Family moved to Dakota.
Children were Pieter born 1855, Isaac born 1856, Marinia b. 1858, Susanna b. 1860, Aaltje, b. 1864, Johannes b. 1866, JOhanna b. 1869, and Dina b. 1871.
So if he got married to Jane in 1874 then it was a second marriage for both.
