Arie Druger, the 14 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Druger, died at the state hospital at Glenwood last Friday noon after a short illness with pneumonia. The body was sent here and arrived Saturday night. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Presbyterian church. Reverends Fulenmer and De Jong officiating. Arie was the oldest son. Three children remain, Margaret, John and the baby Alice, and all are now at home. The following relatives and friend were here for the funeral from out of town: Albert Druger and son, Arie and wife, of Ashton, Peter and Mrs. E. Talsma and children of Sheldon, Mr. and Mrs. Nel Druger of Le Mars, Peter Druger of Sioux City, Mr. and Mrs. C. De Booy of Orange City. The bereaved family have the sympathy of the whole community in their loss.
