L.(Lambert) Maanden of Sioux Center, died Wednesday from the effects of rheumatism. The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon and Mr. and Mrs. J. Mulder and Mr. and Mrs. M. Van Kampen intend to go to Sioux Center in order that they may attend the funeral of their friend.

In the 1910 census Lambert Manden born 1871 Holland lived in West Brach Sioux IA. Came in 1886 wife Tryntje born 1877 IL. , children: Grace 10, Rena 7.

From a family report on ancestry.com by others. Lambert Jans Manden born 5 Oct 1869 Nijeveen Drenthe Netherlands died 9 May 1917 West Branch Sioux IA. He was the son of Jan Manden 1823, and Geesje Annes Everts 1838, He married Tryntje ‘Kate’ Van Dyke born 1876. Three children named – Grace 1899-1931, Rena 1903-1980, Clara 1911-2003.
