Peter Postma age eighty two years died at his home near Hull, Saturday and was buried Monday. The services were held for the Christian Reformed church and interment was made in Hope Cemetery. The bereaved relatives have the sincere sympathy of the community.

Peter Postma was born 22 Jan 1836 at Opeinde Smallingerland, Friedland Netherlands. His parents were ‘Webba’ Postma 1782-1868 and Lettje Klazes Smeerke 18796-1870. He marred Grietje ‘Gertie’ DeVries 1840-1913. The report list eight children born to them. Wieba 1869, Atje 1871. Oeds ‘Otto’ 1874, Ytja ‘Ida’ 1877, Sytske 1880, Iebeltje 1882, Sikke 1885 and Ellen 1887.
