After having lived a long and successful life, Mrs. Marcus Kane of Matlock crossed the silent river on Thursday. Father James McCormack on Saturday morning conducted funeral services at the local Catholic church, after which the remains were interred in St. Patrick’s cemetery. Friends of the deceased lady, who enjoyed extensive acquaintances in Sheldon, extend heartfelt sympathy to the surviving friends and relatives.
