Mrs. Neal Muyskens died at her home northeast of Alton on this Friday morning following a sickness of two weeks with typhoid fever complicated with pneumonia.

Deceased was born in the Netherlands and reached the age of 37. She was the daughter of Henry Geurink Sr. In 1886 she was untied in marriage to Neal Muyskens. This union was blessed with eleven children eight of who survive.

The funeral services will be held on Monday from the Reformed church. Interment will be in Nassau township cemetery. The surviving children are: Henry, Tillie,, John, George, Gerrit, Grace, Dick and Peter all at home. She is also survived by her husband, her father and two sisters, Miss Hattie Geurink and Mrs. De. Muyskens both of Alton. The surviving relatives have the sincere sympathy of the entire community.

Hendrik Geurink was born 24 Jun 1838 Wisch Gelderland Netherlands and died 14 May 1919 Alton IA. He married Grada Groot Nibbelink 1843-1900, they had three children Berendina Geurink 1872-1927, Wilhelmina Hendrika 1875-1913 and Hattie 1883-1932.
