Bouma, Boukje Mrs Peter, born May 1, 1847 died Dec 18, 1913 Hull father Otto De Vries, mother Etta Daalstra (Deelstra) Source – Sioux County Death record

Sioux County Index (Hull) After a short illness of only five days Boukje De Vries Bouma died in the hospital at Rock Valley after a severe operation. She was a beloved wife , mother and grandmother. (the next few lines are illegible) The family thanks all for their help and sincere sympathy shown in our bereavement. Baukjen Oedses De Vries was born 12 May 1846 Drachten Friesland Neth. died 18 Dec 1913 Rock Velley (Hull) IA. She was the daughter of Oeds Gerben de Vries 1807-1859 and Attje Heines Deelstra 1809-1975. She married Peter Libbes Bouma 1839-1923. Only child mentioned of many was Otto Peter Bouma 1873-1944.
