Aardema, Emma ‘Emkje’ (Mrs. Charles) born 30 Oct 1865 Franeker, Friesland, Netherlands, died 8 Aug 1936 Doon, IA.

Mrs. Jerry Brandts returned home last week, after almost three months absence spent in nursing in the C. Aardema home at Doon. Mrs. Aardema passed away the 13th of June, and Mrs. Aardema, the 8th of August. Both had been in failing health for some time. (The Aardema’s had been Sioux Center Residents in the past.)

Emkje ‘Emma’ Jansme was born 30 Oct 1865 Franeker, Friesland Netherlands, and died 8 Aug1936 at Doon IA. Her parents were Klaas Jansma 1839-1909 and Albertje Vriese 1834-1875.
