Mrs. Dore Sackette died at her home in this city last Saturday after an illness of long duration. Her demise was due to heart trouble.

Adaline Sackette was one of the pioneers of Union County, coming to South Dakota with her husband about thirty-six years ago.

She leaves a husband and one son to mourn her death.

She was a woman of kindly heart and ever ready to assist those in need.

The funeral was held at the home Monday morning, conducted by Reverend Chittenden, pastor of the Presbyterian Church. She was laid to rest at Grace Hill Cemetery, Hawarden, Sioux County, Iowa.
