Rites Held Tuesday Dies Friday at Home at Age of 81. Funeral services were held at Central Reformed church here at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday April 10 for Mrs. Henry Willemsen, nee Jennie Van Beek, a life-long resident of this vicinity, who died at her home here Friday at the age of 81. A brief service attended by immediate members of the family was held at the little Chapel preceding the service at the church. Mrs. Willemsen was born in Sioux Center October 18, 1880 and grew to young womanhood here. She married to Henry Willemsen in 1900 and the couple farmed near Middleburg for many years. They moved into Sioux Center In 1917 and she had resided here since then. Mr. Willemsen passed away July 19, 1952.

Survivors include six Children, Mrs. J. B. (Grace) Vande Berg of Sioux Center, Mary Willemsen of Hawarden, Mrs. Arthur (Cora) Van Wyk of Bakersfield CA, Gary Willemsen of Creston, IA, Mrs. Joe (Jennie) Fiebig of Des Moines, and Henrietta Willemsen of Glendale CA; eleven grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Others who preceded her in death were five brothers and one great grandson.

Coming from a distance to attend the funeral services held Tuesday for Mrs. Henry Willemsen were Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Van Wyk of Bakerfield CA, Mr. and Mrs. Gary Willemsen of Creston, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Fiebig and son of Des Moines, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Willemsen, Marvin Willemsen and Mrs. David Snook all of Mason City, and many other relatives from the Orange City Rock Valley, Sheldon, Hull and Boyden areas.
