Dena De Vos, 94, of Sioux Center died Friday, May 16, at the Sioux Cennter Community Health Center. Services were at 2 p.m. Monday, May 19, at Covenant Christian Reformed Church In Sioux Center with the Rev. Daniel De Groot officiating. Burial was In Memory Gardens.

Mrs. De Vos was born June 20. 1902, In Middleburg, the daughter of William and Dirkjke (Bleyenberg) Van der Weide. She married William De Vos on February 18. 1926. The couple farmed near Sioux Center. She was a member of Covenant Christian Reformed Church.

Survivors Include three sons and their wives, Cornie and Elizabeth of Hull, Clarence and June of Tyler, Texas, and Harold and Sharon of Rock Rapids; two daughters and their husbands, Nellie and Hilbert De Weerd and Wilma and Harold Kuiken. all of Sioux Center; a son-in-law, Sam Klein of Sioux Center; two sisters, Dora and her husband Dick Bleeker and Liz De Vos, all of Sioux Center; a sister-in-law, Pearl Vander Weide of Orange City; 34 grandchildren; 64 great-grandchildren; and two greatgreat-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Dorothy; three grandsons; a sister, Hattie; and five brothers, Pete, Arie, Henry, John and Tunis
