Wessel Bouwman died at the home of Jacob Van Den Hull near Boyden on Wednesday of last week.

Died: at the house of Jacob Spikaboer one mile west of Boyden Jan 26th, Wessel Bouman of lung fever, aged 28 years. Wessel Bouman was born in Holland and came to this country four years ago. He had no relatives here, but a great many friends who were ready to minister to the wants of the dying friend. All who knew him were his friends, and to pay their last sad respects to his memory, the U. P. church was filled to its limits. All of whom mingle their sorrow with the greater sorrow of his aged parents who live beyond the sea. Funeral services were held by Rev. Vander Kamp in Holland Language and Rev. W. E. Dunlap in English.
