Winch – At his home four miles east of Hull, on Saturday, January 9th 1892 of heart disease, Philip Winch age 87 years. The deceased has resided upon his farm near this city for about twelve years, and was universally liked by all his neighbors and acquaintances. Up to the very hour of his death he had enjoyed good health. On Saturday night he retired at the usual hour, and soon fell asleep, from which he never awakened. He leaves an aged wife and a son to mourn his loss. The funeral took place from the Story school house; and his remains were buried in the Boyden cemetery on Tuesday.
