Syerah Van Muyden, age 14, daughter of Josh Van Muyden, of Orange City, and Rebecca Van Meeteren, of Sheldon, passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2022, as the result of an ATV accident.

There will be a celebration of life on Friday, September 2, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at the Prairie Winds Event Center in Orange City. The Oolman Funeral Home in Orange City is assisting the family.

Syerah attended the MOC-Floyd Valley Community Schools and enjoyed singing and playing her keyboard. She had her first job at Hardees and was proud to be able to purchase her own shoes for her ever-growing shoe collection.

Memorials may be given to the Syerah Van Muyuden family, c/o Oolman Funeral Home.
