From the Alton Democrat, May 30, 1941, Orange City news:

Infant Passes Away

The infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry O, Mouw living northwest of town passed away in the De Bey hospital Wednesday afternoon. Funeral services were held in the Trinity Reformed church Friday afternoon with Rev. J. G. Brouwer in charge. Burial was in the local cemetery.

The infant was born April 17 and on Monday of last week was taken to Sioux City to consult a child specialist and 24 hours later the baby passed on. He was the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Mouw who have the sympathy of this community in their bereavement.

No obituary was readily found in the Orange City newspaper.
The obituary of Henry O. Mouw says that he was preceded in death by an infant son, John Henry.

His death certificate (informant Henry Mouw) has John Henry Mouw [surname indexed on Ancestry.com as Monro]; residence rural Sioux County, 1 mile east and 3 miles north of Orange City; born April 17, 1941 in Orange City; parents Henry O. Mouw and Violet Schuller; died in the De Bey Hospital, Orange City, where he had been for 1 day, on May 21, 1941; cause, congenital heart disease, from birth.
