From the Sioux County Index (Hull), February 14, 1941:

Obituary of Mrs. J. Victoria, 86 Years Old, Buried Thurs.

Mrs. J. Victoria (nee Dina Prins) was born December 21, 1854 in the Province of Drenthe, the Netherlands. She was married to John Victoria in 1877. Six children were born to this union in the Netherlands, two of the children dying when they were small.

In 1892 the family came to the United States, accompanied by Mrs. Victoria's mother, Mrs. Hendrik Prins. They arrived in Hull, but the first year they made their home in Sioux Center, later moving to Hull and vicinity where the family has since lived. Two other children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Victoria in the United States. Mr. John Victoria passed away in 1912, leaving Mrs. Victoria alone with the children.

In January, 1941, Mrs. Victoria took sick and passed away on February 3, 1941 at the age of 86 years, 1 months and 12 days. She is survived by her six children; Alice (Mrs. Andrew Eppinga) of Hull, Annie (Mrs. H. Oelen) of Hull, Koert Victoria of Sheldon, Henry J. Victoria of Hull, Dina (Mrs. Edward Reitsma) of Sanborn, and John Victoria of Chicago; and by 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Thursday, February 6th at 1:00 o'clock A.M. at the home and 1;30 at the Hull Christian Reformed Church. Rev. Dr. R. L. Haan officiating, assisted by Rev. R. A. Jager. Interment was at Hope Cemetery.

Her FindaGrave.com page has Dina Hendriks Prins Victoria, born 21 Dec 1854 in Hoogeveen Municipality, Drenthe, Netherlands, died 3 Feb 1941 in Hull; buried in Hope Cemetery, Hull. Spouses Jan Koerts Victoria (1852-1912, married 1877) and Hendrik Kuiper (1856-1926, married 1923). Six children listed. An unattributed added note says her parents were Hendrik Gerrits Prins and Annigje Benning. There is a photo of the joint headstone of her and husband Jan.

Her death certificate (informant Henry J. Victoria) has her as Dina Victoria Kuiper, widow of John Victoria; resident of Hull, Iowa; born Dec. 21, 1854 in Holland; resident of the U.S. 49 years and of Hull about 40 years; parents Henry Prins and Anne Benning; died at 12 M. February 3, 1942; cause, pneumonia, duration 3 weeks. An annotation says “(over)”, but there is no back side available online.

There is a Sioux County District Court marriage record for groom Henry Kuiper, age 68, resident of Doon, Iowa, a farmer, born in the Netherlands, parents Jan Kuiper and Vimigie[?] ten Kate, second marriage; bride Dina Victoria, maiden name Dina Prins, age 68, resident of Hull, born in the Netherlands, parents Hendrik Prin and Annigie Bennink, second marriage; married in Sioux Center July 13, 1923.

The 1900 U.S. census shows the Victoria family living in Lincoln Township, Sioux County: John (47), married 23 years, born Holland, a railroad employee, naturalization first papers; wife Dena (45), born Holland, mother of 7 children, 6 living; daughter Allie (22), born Holland, a dressmaker; son Kort (17), born Holland, a railroad employee; son Henry (9), born Holland; daughter Dena (6), born Iowa; and son John (3), born Iowa. All those born in Holland immigrated in 1892. Also living with them is Son[?] Oelen, age 49, widowed, born Holland, immigrated 1893, a farmer; relation to head of household is partner.
