Possibly, Cornelis Nick Smit Dec 1859 wife Katie Teuntje Verdoorn Aug 1872 married 1894, one child Emma Apr 1896 lived in Capel Tsp Sioux county IA. In daughter Emma’s obit noted she had one sister who died at birth.
