It appears this family lived in Sioux County briefly in the time period of no federal census. No effective tracking was available other than finding a family report on ancestry.com that indicated the family had been in the Orange City area as a daughter Johanna was born 1887 and died 1889; son Johan was born in 1890 at Orange City. The family ended up in North Dakota. Renze Nicolay was born 30 Jan 1862 Ferwerd Friesland Netherlands and died 23 Sep 1945 Strasburg ND, his wife was Gretje Van Keulen 1858-1929. They had about 10 children.
