Gisteren, Woensdag, jis alhier in den ouderdom van 79 jaren en 3 maanden overleden de weduwe van Jouke Jansma moeder van Mrs. Heymen De Hartog, bij wien ze tehuis was. De begrafenis zal Vrijdag om 2 uurplaats hebben.

Yesterday, Wednesday, at the age of 79 years and 3 months, the widow of Jouke Jansma, mother of Mrs. Heymen De Hartog, with whom she was at home. The funeral will take place Friday at 2 p.m.

From a family report on line (by others) This was Arentje Veldema born Netherlands died 20 May 1891 Sioux County IA. She was first married to Melle Bruinsma 1806-1855 Blija Friesland. Her daughter was Bessie Bruinsma 1836-1918 married to Hyman Den Hartog 1836-1922.
