Maandag overleed hier een kindje van Douwe Hoekstra, dat pas den leeftijd van drie maanden bereikte. De begrafenis had Dinsdag plaats.
Translated:
On Monday a child of Douwe Hoekstra died here, who only reached the age of three months. The funeral took place on Tuesday.

Suspect this to be a baby of Douwe S. Hoekstra 1849- died 1927 Oak Harbour WA, and Ynske Lammerts Ida De Haan 1848-1940. They were in the New Holland SD area in this time period and could have lived in Sioux County IA briefly between census reports.
